It's that time again, when dads, mums and siblings alike gather round the television to view football history in the making. But it's also the time to call over your friends and have an epic screening party as you bet on and cheer your teams of choice. Calling them all over is the easy part, getting your space World Cup ready calls for some serious thinking and hard work!

Projector and Screen: The World Cup comes around only once in four years, which is why, if you can afford it, you must put in the time and effort to rent out a projector and a screen. Once it's installed in your home and the game is on, it's all going to be worth it. Sometimes when you have an empty wall in your house, you don’t even need a white screen. You can directly project it onto your wall and it’ll be just as good.

Blankets and Pillows: World Cup screenings, specifically for Nepal, usually happens during the night. So have a bunch of soft pillows and blankets that you can pass around during the night in case it gets chilly. Otherwise it's just fun to cozy up and get comfortable as you enjoy the game in front of you.

Drinks: For those who find it utterly difficult to stay up late, maybe a glass of chilled coffee is going to be your go to drink. But for others, chilled beer is the way to go. For those who are underage, fret not, because there are plenty of drinks to keep you up all night. From coca-cola to mojitos and mocktails, make up your drinks and serve them around.

Snacks and bites: There are normally many games to watch so it’s going to be a pretty long session, make sure you have some snacks around. If you’re lazy like the rest of the world, stock up on some chips and readymade popcorn in your cabinets. If you’re willing to go the extra mile, especially in the final rounds, whip up some homemade guacamole or salsa to serve with nachos or make some easy hot wings that get really messy while eating.

Flags for decorations: If you’re really into football or just really into decorating your space, you could buy some World Cup flags and hang them around your viewing room. This can really help to uplift the space and add to the excitement of your colleagues. This also adds color to the room and changes the look of your worn out spaces.

Props: Get your guests to represent their teams through matching colored Afros, out-of-this-world glasses and Jerseys that they can wear and cheer their teams with. Collect them and display them in a corner of your room where everyone can see and grab them from as you cheer through the night!

Tie Sheets and Time Schedules: Now we wouldn’t want to miss a game or host a screening part at the wrong time would we? Get a copy of the Tie sheet and the Time Schedule and display it in the room where everyone can see and plan their schedules around. It's always good to be informed.

Clear areas around: Make sure you shift around your furniture and turn off the fans above to make sure that you have space to jump and cheer around without mishap. This way no one gets hurt during World Cup time and you can cheer and celebrate with your weird dances all night long!
