2. Pyscho(1960)

This is a cult classic horror/psychological film directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Based on the novel of the same name it was released in 1959. They help a family deal with scary and paranormal events that take place in their Rhode Island farmhouse. Critics loved the film for its simplicity of production and not over the top use of CGI. This 1988 supernatural horror movie directed by Tom Holland produced one of the most famous horror movie characters, Chucky. The movie is about a doll given to a small child that actually embodies the spirit of an infamous serial killer.
